As the Browns search for a new General Manager, CEO Joe Banner says there’s a frontrunner for the job. But, according to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Banner won’t say who it is.
Banner added that the first wave of interviews will include roughly six candidates.
We reported last night that Chiefs director of pro personnel Ray Farmer is believed to be the leader for the job. Other candidates include former NFL executive Mike Lombardi. The Browns at one point sought permission to interview Vikings assistant G.M. George Paton, but Paton declined or the Vikings denied permission, or maybe both.
