Eagles, Bradley not close to a deal, yet

Bradley

The fact that Seahawks defensive coordinator Gus Bradley will interview with the Eagles for a second time on Tuesday coupled with pre-existing rumors that Bradley is the leading candidate for the job has created a sense that Bradley could soon be the team’s next head coach.

According to Geoff Mosher of CSNPhilly.com, that’s not the case. At least not yet.

Bradley’s second interview is being viewed as more of a continuation of the first session, since it happened on Saturday in Atlanta, as the Seahawks were preparing to play the Falcons.

Bradley reportedly will interview with the Jaguars later this week. He also interviewed with the Chargers, who reportedly will hire Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy.

If, of course, everything goes well and momentum builds and Bradley gets the job in Philly, he probably won’t be interviewing in Jacksonville.
