Falcons can stop kaepernick and win. They won’t let some 8 start QB beat them. I’m rooting for M. Ryan too. Being a Ravens fan, I tired of the media not giving credit where it’s due. Ryan & Flacco led their teams to victories.

Sorry but I don’t like kaep’s mechanics…..drops his arm, throws too hard, and looks frantic in the pocket….bolts too quickly.

To all you who think Kaep isn’t a strong passer, watch the games before you make those comments. The guy has a great arm and ability to hit the WR! I hope Kaep doesn’t go off running like crazy in this game so everyone will shut up and watch what a great passer he is.

Kaepernick is an athlete playing quarterback. Until he develops as a passer and stops throwing 100 mph every throw, running or the threat of running is his only weapon.

If I were the Falcons, I would play him as they did Russell Wilson and force him to beat them with his arm, as Wilson, a better passer and less superior runner, almost did.

You 49er fans haven’t been here all year. We,ve heard all the exact same trash talk fourteen times this year and fourteen times sent teams home losers. You look at all the “yard”stats but the real tale is the Falcons bend but don’t break. The Falcon D has given up fewer passing TD’s than any team in the NFL and with all the reasons you give they are weak doesn’t hide the fact that fourteen times they came out on top…only New England can say that too. Atlanta beat the Hawks, who blew you out and crushed the Giants 34-0 who also blew you out. Then there’s the Twelfth Man, come on in the Dome and meet 72,000 screaming Falcons fans and try and match that from 3000 miles away, if a 49er fan yells at his TV from 3000 miles away does he still make a sound?

Look for all the excuses you want, we all know you are just whistling past the graveyard and it doesn’t bother us, we’ve heard it all year. Like Matty Ice said “We’re all we’ve go,t and that’s all we need”

Roman/Harbaugh like to come up with new schemes each week and be unpredictable, even when doing the same thing that was successful before would work. I haven no idea what they will try this week.

If I were Atlanta, I would try to contain CK as much as possible and force him to throw to beat me. He has been pretty accurate with deep balls so I don’t think that strategy will likely work, but those passes have a lot of moving parts, the throw, the receiver, the defender, so things can go wrong. Leaving huge running lanes open for CK would be a disaster. Running with the ball in the situation is a lot more of a sure thing than consistently connecting in the passing game.

The Falcons the softest D wants to put a hat on Kap, ok good luck trying to get to him. A) he is damn fast B)he has an arm, and C) Have you seen that massive offensive line of his coming at you, i want no part of that. 49ers should take this pretty easily.

Atlanta should be saying, “We need to keep our offense on the field for long stretches, score lots of points, and keep Kaep & Co on the sidelines for most of the game.”

They’re not going to find it easy to get “physical” with Kaepernick because they’ll have to catch him first.

Stories like this about Atlanta’s D having trouble stopping mobile QBs is a product of ingnorance and the cherry picking of stats.

They conveniently forget about shutting down RG3 ( 91 yards- no TDs) and Mike Vick. If you cherry pick you can justify anything.

The real story is the Falcons are a top 5 D in points scored against, they just beat a Superior version of the niners ( that blew the niners out 3 short weeks ago), and that the Niners cant play on turf ( vikings, Rams)

TE Zack Miller went off for 140 yards on Atlanta last week, what do you think Vernon Davis is going to do? The Falcons can focus all they want on Kaep’s runs, while it will be his arm that causes the most damage. The Niners are not going to be able to keep Atlanta out of the endzone either, this will be a shoot out. Having a bigger and more physical front 7 on both sides of the ball and all the emotional energy the Falcons expended last Sunday will pave the way for a strong 4 quarter for the Niners and a trip to the Superbowl.

Atlanta needs to be saying “We need to have gap and rush discipline”.

I honestly have no clue what the Packers though on some of those plays. On one play they have Clay Matthews taking the Arctic Circle route to the right versus a double team. You then have the interior lineman rushing to the left.

This is a bad play against ANY QB. Tom Brady could have ripped off 15 yards against them on that play.

Targeting your opponent’s weapons is a good strategy but Kaepernik is only one guy. Who’s gonna look after Gore, Crabtree, Moss & Co. ?

Everyone said kaep would meet his match in Foxborough when Bill Billicheck would throw his crazy genius schemes at him. Bill kept him in the pocket and Kaep blew out the Patriots throwing 4 TD’s.
