You don’t think Billichick or Harbaugh would find a creative way to make Tebow effective? If Trestman is worth his “guru” moniker, he’d find a way to make Tebow a 3rd down/goaline threat, which is BADLY needed in CHI.

Also, not even the greatest of Cutler haters would be chanting “Tebow”. Tebow would be in an unquestioned secondary role in a good locker room with vets, not a bunch of clowns from the Jets.

Tebow doesn’t work?? right what the hell do you know?? Tebow took a team to playoffs after being 1-4 and win a playoff win?? when was the last time Cutler took the Bears to playoffs?? yeah 2 seasons ago and he gave up, he wanted to leave the game.

In sum, Cutler will be hurt as he is just about every year.

Tebow left Trestman’s QB camp with a completely different throwing motion than what he had at Florida that made people actually believe he might be able to play- a throwing motion that he was able to replicate at private workouts, but was not able to replicate at minicamp or at any other point for the rest of his “career”.

Whenever I see people talk about Tebow’s throwing motion all I can picture if Hacksaw Jim Duggan doing the wind-up-foot-stomp-punch thing…..

But the truth is….whoooo gives a crap about “throwing motion”? Unless he is throwing the ball like a submarine-style pitcher, and it’s not clearing the offensive linemen, it makes no difference if he has “proper mechanics” or is throwing the damn thing through his legs…..if it gets to the target it gets to the target.

Hell, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar probably initially got criticism for the skyhook because conventional wisdom suggested that you had to post up and shoot two handed to properly aim a basketball….but the truth is, sometimes bad mechanics can be successful. I type better than 100 words a minute and I only use my left middle finger, and the thumb, fore and middle finger on my right hand….used to drive my typing (yes, we had “typing” in middle school 15-20 years ago) nuts because I could type faster than anyone in the class, including him, but I didn’t do it “right”.

Also have an unconventional golf swing and bat weird too…..but I do both of those above-averagely too.

So, my point is, Tewbow’s mechanics aren’t necessarily the problem. He may just have really crappy aim.
