I’m happy to see this end. Vilma was a very good linebacker for the Saints and there is no doubt GODell is drunk on power but I’d hate to see news reports carrying over into next year about this injustice.

Let those who savor the opportunity to knock the Saints have their little fun in their pitiful little lives.

I think most people would rather have their reputation than a paycheck and I’ll bet the farm that somewhere down the road Vilma would gladly return his paychecks for a change of his legacy. 10 years from now, no one will think of Vilma the player but his name will automatically be connected with “dirty player and bountgate”

I do believe it was with the help of a lawyer he got to collect every penny of his multi million dollar salary this year when others particular those on here were screaming “take your punishment like a man”. Money well spent if you ask me.

So, anyone ever hear from Louis Freeh? Exactly what most all of us thought in respect to that investigation as well. Wonder why those findings were not released? HMMM! And the wire tapping. Sure the State Police had a statement that they found no evidence, but the FBI was also investigating and you would think that if they also found nothing that the Saints would make that public. Still a lot of shadows in NOLA

I like how his attorney uses a strawman. No one has said the CBA gives the authority to misrepresent facts, etc. The judge simply ruled that this should be dealt with under the CBA. And honestly, he has a better chance with that than he does to prove willful defamation in court..

Reviewing his options…….get real. If Vilma’s own personal judge in louisiana dismisses a frivolous lawsuit, I doubt there are any real options except for Vilma’s lawyer to keep selling him hope in order to keep racking up the fees.
