I hope the owner Johnson is smart enough to hire him. Silly Mia. never use Wes Welker as wide-receiver.He was always used a kickreturner. If Randy Mueller was the Jets’s GM six years ago or more we would still have Woodhead. He would have taken Wes Welker away from Mia.

Is Don Shula too old for the Job. This guy knows how to pick great players. He’s always been in the playoffs.

During his time with the Saints, Randy Mueller did good work shuffling contracts around, making trades and drafting talent. Genius stuff with the cap. We had great confidence in him and I was sorry to see him go.

Given the current mess the Jets have, he would be a desirable hire as GM but he’s going to demand say-so. Of course the tricky question is whether or not he’d fit in between Johnson and Ryan.

I think Mueller taking the job would signal that some sanity is returning to the organization.

Maybe Rex is just gonna wear two hats and be GM and coach? I would say ownership should be losing some sleep over the decision of keeping Rex as HC.

Betcha they would have had a GM by now if they would have fired sexy Rexy and hired a GM first and let him pick the HC and then told him he has free reign picking his new QB also.
