The Titans didn’t fire their head coach, but they’ve parted ways with plenty of assistant coaches.
They’re now filling the gaps that resulted from the moves.
The team has announced that Dowell Loggains (pictured), who became offensive coordinator after Chris Palmer was fired, will keep the job. Loggains will be replaced at quarterbacks coach by Dave Ragone, who previously served as receivers coach.
Shawn Jefferson joins the team as receivers coach, with George Henshaw hired to coach tight ends and Sylvester Croom coaching running backs.
Also, Chet Parlavecchio moves from assistant special-teams coordinator to linebackers coach, and Nate Kaczor will coach special teams after serving as assistant line coach.
