APIf you have one of those red plastic pig hats, you’ve got a shot at a job with the Cowboys.
According to Todd Archer of ESPNDallas.com, the Cowboys interviewed former University of Arkansas head coach Houston Nutt recently.
What job he was talking to Arkansas alum Jerry Jones about is unclear. The only currently available job on offense is running backs coach, after they fired Skip Peete. There’s some uncertainty about the future of tight ends coach John Garrett, the brother of head coach Jason Garrett. John Garrett’s interviewing for the Delaware job.
Nutt was the head coach at Arkansas from 1998-2007, which was followed by a stint at Ole Miss. He has no NFL experience.

please hire Nut as HC, the rest of the NFCE would love it.

acoman did you even read the story?
non cowboy fans seem more obssesed with the cowboys then their actual fans.
He was the coach with McFadden, Felix Jones and Peyton Hillis in the same backfield. He loves to run the ball and would probably make a great RB coach. Felix would love it and probably Jerry too.
Nutt to the NutHouse.
Appropriate. Another kiss of death.
He’ll probably be hired as a “consultant”, spying for Jerry and telling him all the things he wants to hear.
The plan may be to have Nutt become the new play caller for the offense. Garrett is being reduced to a manequin on the sideline.
Nutt is unemployed for a reason, Jerry.
Won the SEC West twice
