What a disappointment he is! Worse yet, he dons the number once worn by GREAT MLBs Dan Conners & Matt Millen… If he is kept, he should be forced to change his number!

McClain was good in college but never made the upgrade to to the pro’s. He’s had his chance on the field and off the field with nothing but failure. Maybe some other team can help him play better and grow up. Trade him. I still think the Raiders can get a draft pick out of him even though it’s going to be a low one. Maybe if he sees what he’s worth on the market, he’ll change his attitude. The Pat’s seem to help the weak minded players, send him there.

I don’t understand how guys that have been perennial winners throughout college gets to the pros, and then they can’t cut it. Maybe its going to perennial losers like the Raiders (over the last decade, no disrespect to how great they were in the ’70s and ’80s), but its seems like when a great college player who’s not used to losing goes to an organization and lose a lot, its hard to stay up…..but that’s just 1 mans opinion.

The only teams that are ridic over the cap are teams that have been terrible for a long time. All those high draft picks use to cost a metric ton.

Maybe it is just me but there seems to be alot of teams at or over the salary cap this year. Do the GMs and other team personnel need to get more education on the salary cap rules or are they just signing alot of bad contracts?
I find it interesting that the Patriots always seem to be 15 to 20 million dollars under the salary cap every year. What gives?
