APFor the second straight week, a first-quarter injury has affected the Patriots.
Last week, it was running back Danny Woodhead and tight end Rob Gronkowski who left early. This week, it’s cornerback Aqib Talib who is heading to the locker room, with an apparent hamstring injury.
The Pats lead, 3-0. They’re driving for more.
Maybe they’ll build a 17-point lead and then blow it.
UPDATE 7:21 p.m. ET: Talib is questionable to return with what the Pats are calling a thigh injury. Replays show clearly that Talib was grabbing his hamstring after the play on which he suffered the injury.

Neat how the AFC has this little consolation bracket thing.
None of the AFC Playoff teams would have come close to beating any of the NFC Playoff teams in the Super Bowl.
Please Tom. send Ray into retirement, I don’t want to see him make goofy faces and mugging it up for the camera during the National Anthem anymore!
Huge. Potentially devastating. And as I write this, Patrick Chung is down.
