Getty ImagesIn what could be his last time wearing a plain orange helmet, Browns receiver Josh Cribbs is heading back to the Pro Bowl.
Cribbs has secured his third Pro Bowl berth via the Ravens’ berth in the Super Bowl. Jacoby Jones is out, and Cribbs is in.
Cribbs is due to become a free agent in March. He complained about his lack of involvement in the offense last season, and it’s unclear whether the team’s new regime will want to keep him around for a ninth season.

All the Ravens out, Browns and Raiders players in. Commence the Hawaiian mockery of a game.
Yeah…he was definitely more deserving than Mckelvin
so what if he didnt score all year?
Darius Reynaud should have gotten the nod, but oh well, it’s the pro bowl.
How about Holliday ????
Trindon Holliday>
I live in NE Ohio and am a die-hard Browns fan and even I am a little surprised by this. Cribbs just didn’t really do much this year.
pro bowl starting to look like Olympics when college guys played in basketball… second tier all star game. good players either in superbowl or opting out and scrubs are getting in. I won’t be tuning in.
I think a couple of teams should be interested in his services, even though Cribbs has been in the league quite a while.
Cribbs didn’t do a ton this year, but oh well. The Pro Bowl…..is a lot of whatever. I hope Cribbs signs with a real team this off-season. He’s still a good player.
Cribbs is nothing more than a Special Teams player. Period. He’s not a WR or a QB or a DB. He’s gonna get a fat dose of reality when Free Agency rolls around. Not worth half the $$$ he thinks he is. Some team will overpay him. It just wont be Joe Banner.
Cribbs had a better than average year for a returner, he just didn’t have a better than average year for Cribbs.
