APThe Falcons are in the process of building another lead that they perhaps will eventually blow.
It started with the first drive of the game. The Atlanta offense drove 80 yards in seven plays, with quarterback Matt Ryan finding a wide-open Julio Jones in stride for a 46-yard catch and run.
Cornerback Tarell Brown gave Jones a chuck and then released him. Jones ran by safety Dashon Goldson, who tried to grab Jones and who seemed to be upset with a possible breakdown in communication.
Regardless, the Falcons lead early. Just like they did last week.
And the 49ers trail early. Just like they did last week.

The 49ers better start bringing some pressure or it’s going to be a hell of a long day.
Matt an’ Julio, playing like it was the school yard.
And the Falcons are going to win, just like they did last week!
This does not look to be the 49ers day. Still early but they are having some big issues so far.
Yeah, going to be a long day for the 49ers on both sides of the ball
And they’ll get out I hell of a lead then lose it and this week their luck runs out.

I heard they scored another one while I was watching some commercials.
Did anyone tell the Niners that the game started at 2pm CST?
Just curious, because it really looks like they forgot to show up!
Can anyone see Alex Smith’s face right now? What does that tell you:)
how is that whole “running qb” game taking over the league idea working now huh? this is a passing league, always has been, always will be. the running qb is just a fad that will be gone sooner than later.
