APThe NFL is in the process of replacing the various 49ers who won’t be able to play in the Pro Bowl because they’ll be getting ready for a slightly more meaningful game.
The Redskins have announced that linebackers Ryan Kerrigan and London Fletcher will replace 49ers linebackers Aldon Smith and Patrick Willis on the NFC team.
In all, the 49ers have eight Pro Bowls who’ll need to be replaced.

Awesome Represent Redskins Nation.!!!!!!!
How the heck did the second leading rusher in the entire league, Alfred Morris, not make the pro bowl? Makes no sense.
What are Redskins doing in the Pro Bowl ?
Daryl Washington, the first alternate, is replacing Patrick Willis.
The pro bowl is a stupid name for this event. They should rename is the Irrelevant Showcase and they should change it to a skills competition back in Hawaii with cash prizes donated to charity of the player’s choice for the QB’s who are the most accurate or throw the farthest, RB’s that run the fastest or do the quickest obstacle course, and WR’s and DB’s with the best speed and hands, LB’s should just hit the hardest or something. I would watch that and I guarantee the players would be way more excited than this nonsense.
Congrats to Kerrigan & Fletch… They both deserve it… Now if we can get some pro bowl safeties on our roster… #HTTR
morris deserves to be there more than the little” mousie” in tampa does!
Im not complaining b/c there were several Skins players that shouldve made the initial cut and didnt, but the Kerrigan selection was clearly a make-up for passing over Morris. Kerrigan had a solid season but by no means was it pro bowl worthy.
That’s a pretty big drop off in talent…. Go NINERS!
Fletch was deserving the past twelve years! Morris is one of the biggest misses to the roster.
What about Keuchly? He led the NFL in Tackles and only started 14 games at MLb.
Gee, I thought with all of the 49ers spots being vacated a few Seahawks might get in.
Kerrigan really doesn’t belong. Anyone who watched him after week 2-3 saw him disappear.

-Right, like that 2 sack 1 forced fumble game in week 16?
I don’t get the disdain for this guy. He shows up, plays well and by and large produces. The fact that so many Redskins fans are being turds about him going to the Pro-Bowl is mind boggling. I’m happy for him, he’s playing well, improving, and with a healthy D next year, the guy is going to be a force.

______
Hell with pro bowlers, I’d be fine with NFL-caliber safeties for now.
