Morris was in the Shannahan zone blocking running scheme that has turned a plethra of bums into studs. The same zone blocking system is being ran by the Texans which is why I never took Foster as a serious talent. Martin is a better all round RB because he can do all of this record breaking sh#t behind a 3rd string offensive line. Just be happy with your system RB Redskin fans, and never compare Morris to real talent again.

If people really knew football they saw a running back in Morris that benefited for a read option offense ran by a quarterback that was capable of taking it the distance himself. Martin lost both All Pro gaurds that are possibly the best two in the game. One before the season and the second half way threw the season. With back-ups he still had great games with no gimmick offense! Over 1900 hundred yards total from scrimmage as a rookie….. Look up the list of how many people have do that! I’ll wait

Morris – Rushing – 1613, Rec – 77 = Total yards – 1690
Martin – Rushing – 1454, Rec – 472 = Total yards – 1926

Martin finished with 236 more total yards than Morris and put together a string of 4 games that had him getting mentioned with AP as a top back in the NFL…
Nothing against Morris….But Martin beats him this year

Martin had a bigger impact on his team. i think he also started less games but not sure. Dont get me wrong, Im a big fan of Morris but Martin is the more exciting back.

Morris is nowhere close to Doug Martin.

The Bucs have 3 players going to the probowl and the only reason they don’t have more is because you dweebs don’t pay attention to their games. You would rather talk about things you know nothing about.

Morris is hands down the better rb but hamster has the receiver speed! both rb’s deserve to be in but if morris doesn’t get a spot it will turn the pro bowl into even more of a joke

Martin over Morris all day….not just receptions and receiving yards but he had two back to back games With total rushing yardage of 465, and rattled off 4 TD’s in one game, 3 going over 45 yards (1st ever RB in the NFL) rushing for 100 yards and a TD per game is good, but Morris never had the statement ges that Martin did.

Martin clearly outperformed Morris. He had a load more of receptions and receiving yardage, and he had fantastic ball security whereas Morris coughed it a few times more than Morris. No contest.

You forgot to mention that if you include martins receiving yards then he is over 1900 yds.. If Morris wasnt invisible in the pass game then maybe he would have got more votes than the complete back in Tampa.
