Niners cut the lead back to three

The Falcons and 49ers continue to play Arena Football.

The Niners took the opening kick of the second half and drove the ball 82 yards in seven plays to cut the Atlanta lead to three.  The drive ended with a five-yard run by Frank Gore.

The Falcons now lead 24-21, with more than 10 minutes left in the third quarter.

After a slow start, 49ers quarterback has completed 11 of 12 passes, spreading the ball around to guys other than Michael Crabtree.

The Falcons now have a chance to push the lead back to 10.

A tale of two halves here we go. Matt Ryan being Matt Ryan calling a timeout at the beginning of the third quarter then throwing a pick. Randy Moss also has a nice pep in his step today.

Shame about Akers. That hernia problem has him all messed up, as one would expect

Two turnovers bu Ryan. Which is why I would give the Falcons little chance in a Super Bowl. He makes big mistakes sometimes in the big games.

These rules protecting the QB have gotten ridiculous. 15 yards and a first down for that? He barely even touched Kaepernick!

Crabtree really raped the Falcons defense on that one
