Every player on the roster will be getting a fresh start in their evaluation. This should make everything even across the board now that Gailey is gone. Those players he favored (Choice, Hairston, Jackson, Searcy) won’t have that big advantage anymore.

By putting the Pro Bowl the week before the Super Bowl, the NFL has ensured no player from the Championship teams can participate, thus cutting the number of real all-stars. If players from my team didn’t earn their spot in the original vote, what difference does it make if they get to go as substitutes? The league needs to rethink this.
