There are plenty of areas to take legitimate shots at on Washington’s roster, but this is just funny. Although I’m from DC, I had no idea how staggering his numbers really were.

Through the nine games Garcon started in Washington, he had two (2) (two, I kid you not) drops. Perhaps even more impressive, with Garcon on the field, the Redskins punted 25 times. The NFL, as a whole, averages a little over 5 punts a game, so 8.25 games with only 25 punts is ridiculous.

That’s the problem, garçon will make tough catches, it’s the ones that actually hit him in the hands he has problems with. His game is weak, Reggie Wayne 17 million, or garçon 35 million? That’s a bitter statement right there. Since garçon in his lifetime won’t smell 1/3 of Reggie Wayne’s accomplishments. That’s alright skins, when he’s done with his contract, he will be right there with maybe Sidney rice.

I’m sure waiting until April is a better option. Rest now then surgery, no OTAs no training camp. That seems to be the goal of some of these guys.

Garçon made so many difficult catches and had so few drops this year, playing hard through injuries. Bitter colts fans comments are laughable at this point. Hopefully he just gets healthy with whatever choice he makes. Even on the bad foot he showed flashes of being a star.
