Please explain to me how a normal tackle on Gronk last year is considered dirty or cheap. Was he supposed to let him just walk into the endzone. I mean it must have been pollards fault that he wasnt a psychic and that he didnt see ahead of time that Ridley was going to duck his head.
Dont be a coward stand up for your statement and please explain how both of those hits were dirty or cheap!!!

Of course not. We all know Tom Brady and the Patsie’s are Goodell’s favorite team. It’s been obvious that over the years he’s done all he can to help the team win and stay relevant. Without him, the Patriots “dynasty” would never have existed. The fix has been in for a decade running. If it wasn’t for the Giants and Ravens foiling his plans, the Pats would probably have six rings with a * by them by now.

Oh and we handle winning just fine over here- 5 straight years in the playoffs with at least one win every year. Something NO other team in the NFL has accomplished. Our players are proud to bring an AFC title to Baltimore, and will be proud to bring the Lombardi back in 2 weeks.

When you win you don’t cry about the refs or disrespect the team you beat both of which Suggs and Pollard did. Your record is impressive but your class……haven’t seen it yet

Clearly you’ve never been to Baltimore. If you get a chance, visit Canton, Fells, Federal Hill, Harbor East, Inner Harbor… all within the city limits. The “ghetto” is nothing more than a 10-block radius on the other side of the city. Most major cities in this country have a similar issue (LA, NYC, MIA, DAL, etc.).

It’s impossible to know whether Brady was trying to kick Reed or whether his foot just came up awkwardly in his slide, and the NFL isn’t going to fine Brady for something that might have been an accident.

You mean similar to if a ‘defenseless receiver’ lowers his head at the last minute, causing the defender to accidentally collide, helmet to helmet? I tend to believe Brady’s slide was more of a self-defense gesture, as opposed to a malicious one. But that should not preclude the NFL from levying a fine against a pretty dangerous result.

As so many have said before, the NFL can’t, and shouldn’t, attempt to interpret or adjudicate intent…just the result. I believe this result warrants a moderate fine.

Patsy fans- I know you’re upset that you just got dominated last week, and after barely escaping Baltimore last year in the AFCC, losing in week 3 this year, and getting owned last week, we can officially say the Ravens own the Pats these days. It’s painful, I’m sure. But come on- Pollard is just a nasty physical football player. His hit on Ridley was clean. His tackle of Gronk was absolutely by the book. Welker the same. Brady he simply wrapped up like your told to do. None of these injuries were from head shots or blind side hits, and not one drew a flag in the game, or a fine after. Whine all you want- doesn’t make Pollard any less of a player, and I’d be willing to bet Billy would take him in a heartbeat.

This guy Pollard is the scum of the NFL. He should be suspended for the Super Bowl for the head shot Welker. Never mind his history of cheap shots and players he as intentionally injured. Ed Reed was interviewed on The Fan last night, and he talked about the slide. Honestly, Pollard needs to let it go, because Reed has. Ed’s a grown man, he doesn’t need a personal advocate. Talking about it this much just sounds like sour grapes.

Pollard, I love you, but you’ve got more important things to worry about than Tom Brady right now.

Playing dirty everytime you play equates to owning? Yeah, no. Let’s be real Pollard is actually an average player (as indicated by his borderline journeyman status) whose built a name off being dirty and conveniently injuring several players of one team. But there’s nothing that impressive about this guys game, if there was then he wouldn’t change teams every couple years. No team is fighting to keep him.

It was pretty bad. I mean, Reed has to do everything in his power not to accidentally touch Brady when he goes into his slide, so he jumps over him to avoid a flag and Brady tries to kick him?

Meanwhile, if most receivers now lower their head right after they make the catch so it’s pretty much impossible to tackle them without a penalty/huge fine.

The rules in this game are getting pretty crazy.

Hilarious to me how other teams fans say ravens complain when they lose and try to blame it on the officials.

Point is… This happens every time the ravens play Peyton manning, Tom Brady, or Ben roethlisberger.

The officials give those teams/QBs ridiculous calls.

A lot of times, those calls decided the game. To not complain and draw attention to horrible officiating just because they won the game would be hypocritical and doesn’t help to bring a solution to the problem. The only way this gets fixed is to keep bringing attention to it.

Refs tried to do everything humanly possible to give this game to the Patriots. They were just so bad though that they could not capitalize.
