I think the dolphins are a great fit, trade our first, #12 and a 3rd, or Matt Moore and a fifth. Dolphins can then look for WR, DE and o line help with the other four pics they have in the top 100, they can also afford to pay him, 40 mil in cap space.

Its times like this Im glad Im a Bengals fan. I don’t think M. Brown knows what a trade is. This trade is to high risk high reward for my liking.

My opinion, Revis will be a Jet at the start of the season. Finish the season as a Jet and end up somewhere like Philly, Dallas, or Green Bay.

I really wish people would keep their idiotic trades to themselves. This is the NFL, not the NBA trades revolve around picks, not other players.

Yes, Revis was widely considered the top corner in the league before ripping his knee up, but he’ll have absolutely no leverage to hold out this year. That being said no one will trade for him without a contract in line beforehand.

Bad 1st and 2nd or good 1st and 3rd will probably be enough to get it done. No one will give up two 1′s for a corner coming off a severe knee injury

Sounds smart to me. But unfortunately Woody no one wants a one year rental. You are stuck with him just like Sanchize. The one team though may be the Niners and Alex Smith they will owe him money they might be looking to unload so they prob wouldn’t mind a 6 mil 1 year rental if they unloaded Smith.

Lol someone said trade him for Matt Flynn? Try Russell Wilson and a third rounder. This is one of the best players in all of the nfl. They won’t trade him unless theyre getting a sweet deal involving a GOOD qb. Makes no sense to. As a jets fan I wouldn’t be able to accept it if they just broke down and traded him for like 4 mediocre players or young prospects/draft picks. They need to get someone big, and throw Sanchez in the deal with him so we don’t have to deal with that cap hit on a backup qb. And patsy fans feasting their eyes on this, Rex will not allow him to go there.

I wish Dave, he would be great in Dallas, but with Carr, Claiborne, and a salary cap – won’t happen. I think the Raiders may be in play. I can see them pursuing Revis, then picking Asomugha when he is dropped by the Eagles. In a division with Manning and Rivers, they need the help.

Ummm, it’s going to cost quite a bit more than what 99% of you are suggesting. Revis is widely considered the best corner in the league, even with the tear. The injury was early enough in the year for him to have recovered by the time September comes rolling around, and the regular season begins. This isn’t going to be a fire sale, by any means. The market will determine his value, and he would easily be the #1 corner on all 32 teams. The shear number of teams that will be falling over themselves to get him will drive the bidding bounties higher and higher. You can forget your pipe-dreams of picking a young and talented shutdown corner for a handful of third-tier players and mid-round picks. He goes for at least this years #1, and prolly next years as well. The second one may be a conditional #2 that will upgrade to a #1, after he proves that he didn’t suddenly turn into Fred Thomas.

As a Jets fan, I’m not opposed to this. I actually thought about this before the season ended.
Whether Rex wants to admit or not, 2013 begins as a rebuilding year of sorts. We may be stuck with Sanchez for another year, but I’mpretty sure everyone in that front office realizes we don’t have the talent right now to go to the next level.
While I hate giving up Revis, I also know we could probably score a draft pick or two from him, which are needed.
