Some of you really need to grow up and give your head shake.
One thing we all can agree on the Bucs whipped the Raiders for the SB.

Lets examine just the true facts ….

Video proves Lynch and the Bucs D knew what every play was … sounds a little like the Pats “spy gate” … if you know what’s coming your chances of winning greatly increase.
Robbins went missing the day before the big game … Has this ever happened before?

Now here’s some questions that need to be asked …

Was the game plan changed one day before Robbins when AWOL … 2 days before the big game.
Ask any NFL coach if he would change a game plan 2 days before and what are the chances of winning?

I keep reading why is Brown bringing it up now … HELLO he has been saying it for years it’s just someone wrote it and when you use the word “sabotage” it catches the media’s attention.

You ask why would Callahan throw away a chance of winning a SB … if he won he wouldn’t have got the credit it because it was Gruden’s team. Maybe he was still pissed off at Al for trading his best friend … It does make sense.

This story sounds so rediculous at first but when you really think about it …. There are alot of unanswered questions.

lets be perfectly clear….rich gannon answered this perfectly yesterday when he said that callahan never changed the playbook or the play calls. So when gannon huddled up and called the play at the line, Tampa Bay knew exactly what play they were going to run…..say what you want, if you don’t think that was sabotage , which gannon politely tip toed around, the raider nation will just call it as it is “the dumbest coach ever to appear in the super bowl.”

This whole thing makes no sense. Tim Brown is a bright, classy, well spoken gentleman who was a hell of an athlete and should be in the HOF. This is so totally out of character and comes at an odd time.

RIGHT! Dono said Andy threw the SB or it was kinda like that with his comments.

Anything McNabb says is met with venom from fans in Philly. What “outlandish” things did he say? If anyone has a grudge, it’s Eagle fans against Donovan. Jeez, his “blackness” was questioned by one of the eagle fans in Bernard Hopkins. All the Philly fans loved it & jumped all over it.

Leave Donovan out of this, you don’t see Viking fans killing Tarkenton, you don’t see Bill fans killing Jim Kelly but you sure do see Eagle fans killing McNabb every chance they get. You guys have no idea what you had with Reid & Donovan but the next few years will show you.

I find this entertaining as hell, and I applaud Brown for giving his admittedly insane interpretation of events.

For me, I really do wonder if this helped push Robbins over the edge. I don’t even know if the game plan change happened–Gannon said it didn’t.

Backtracking is an understatement. After listening to his interview with Dan Patrick I can honestly say I have no flippin’ idea where Tim Brown is coming from. Hard to understand and process his line of reasoning when literally every other word was “you know.”

Sorry, but I lost a tremendous amount of respect for Tim Brown after this fiasco. I’m sure I am not alone on this.

I’d just like to say something else to the folks that like to (stupidly) cling to the idea of the game plan being suddenly changed to something that the Raiders were totally uncomfortable with on the Friday before the Superbowl…

Here’s the play breakdown for the AFC championship:
9 RB rushes, 41 passing attempts

For the Super Bowl:
9 RB rushes, 44 passing attempts

Yeah…clearly the Raiders (who had an MVP QB and were #1 in the league in passing that year) went with a totally random game plan that nobody was at all comfortable with for that game.

Oh, and just for the record…Rod Woodson has said that Barret left the team BEFORE Callahan changed the plan, and was probably what caused the change to begin with.

I thought all along the word he was really looking for was “undermine”. I think it’s completely possible that Callahan’s incompetence undermined their ability to win that game and that his actions were not reasonable. Where Brown gets into trouble is that he keeps pointing out the friendship with Gruden. There is no way Callahan would “sabotage” or throw the game for his friend (at that point whoever won that game was going to be the up and coming coach)… what I do think is plausible is that Callahan’s heart was not with the organization and the team in a way normal SB coaches are and that his mind (in terms of strategy) was not as sharp because of it. Tim didn’t explain it well… but to be fair, Callahan’s never explained his strategy for that game very well either.
