PFT on NBC Sports Network welcomes Ahmad Brooks

Patrick Willis, Ahmad Brooks AP

The 49ers are preparing to head down to New Orleans for the Super Bowl and we’ll get an idea about how those preparations are proceeding when linebacker Ahmad Brooks stops by Pro Football Talk on NBC Sports Network.

Brooks came up with a couple of big plays late in the NFC Championship Game, causing Matt Ryan’s left shoulder injury with a hit and then knocking down a pass on the next play, to help the Niners advance.¬†Brooks will tell Erik Kuselias how the team is handling life as NFC Champions and how it feels to go to the Super Bowl for the first time in his career.

Bob Glauber of Newsday is in Maryland with the Ravens and he’ll also be on hand during Thursday’s show. Safety Ed Reed announced Thursday that he plans to continue his career next season so we’ll get any followup on that from Glauber.

Mike Florio, Pete Najarian and Shaun King will also be around to catch you up on everything else you need to know about the Ravens and 49ers on Thursday.

It all gets started at 5 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network.
