Driver always played with passion and determination, which shows with every catch he made. He’ll probably move back to Texas but he’s been such a great player and person of the Green Bay community.

I intentionally left off Barnett because he was on IR, so he didn’t help win anything. I think Cullen was an UDFA.

Donald Driver is one of the best players with the NFL, And I wish him the best in what ever he decides to do. But one thing for sure is his big smile will be missed on the Green bay sidelines.

I think Nick Barnett/Cullen/Wells were the only “Sherman Guys” …

Barnett was on IR and Cullen/Scott were drafted late – which means they were probably Reggie McKenzie Draft Picks since Sherman was probably taking a nap by then.

My Vikings could use all the receivers thay can get especially if Percy wont stay. I would love to see them go after Mike Vick. Can you imagine Run option with AP, Harvin, Rudolph. Vick can throw it great arm & he can run just needs to stay healthy. If they can pull that off betcha Percy stays and we got a great shot to win that division. Im either on to something or on something. I think Vick still has some good ball left in him. Just needs to stay healthy.

You know Donald has plenty of cash to call it a career. One of the best players to ever don the Green and Gold. Doubt he makes the Pro Football Hall of Fame, but he’ll definately make the Packers Hall. On and off the field, and all around great guy.

You’re thinking like fans again… Meaningless drive or not, Mike McCarthy wasn’t thinking about Donald Driver’s final moments as a Packer when that game in San Francisco was drawing to a close. Those moments are for high school games. Lest we forget that the NFL is a cold, hard business and rarely recognizes those sentimental moments.

Won with Sherman’s guys? Are you KIDDING me?! When the Packers won the super bowl, TT had 6 drafts under his belt. I think the only Sherman guys left were Driver (actually I think he was a Wolf pick) and Clifton, and maybe Tauscher.

How was TT winning with Mike Sherman’s guys? There were exactly 2 players from the Mike Sherman GM era starting for the Packers SB team 2 years ago – Clifton and Cullen Jenkins and even they are long gone now. Get a clue.

Id like to see The Packers offer him something like what they were going to offer Favre. Similar to a spokesperson like roll.

As a Viking fan, I never had any problem with Donald Driver. He was a great player and he always seemed like a class act (I just wished he was on my team!).

DD was a very good player for a number of years. Great guy, great teammate and a Packer for life.

But he is done. He was done last year but got one more season with almost no action even with the injuries that GB had at the WR position. The writing is on the wall but maybe Minnesota will want him?
