Hey Harris ADVICE !!! Teach this kids how to hit and knock receivers off their rout. Chiefs always allowed receivers to get into their routs, then get burned. How about some serious contact at the lines o scrimmage?

I’ll always remember him in the 2007 NFCCG. He and Plaxico played like gladiators fighting for their lives.

This is a great hire, its a way to get some of these guys back in the game he’ll be learning from one of the all time greats. It also looks like Chip Kelly is hiring Todd Lyght to help with Philly’s dB’s another good hire

According to KC Chiefs.com, Harris will be “assisting” Emmitt Thomas……so #18 stays for now – which is a smart move for a team starved for some positive P.R.

It’s only position coach. He played the position at a high level for 15 years.

I am surprised more players do not become coaches after their playing career is over.
That would be better than recycling the same failures every few years.

As a Vikes fan, I will always remember AD trucking Al Harris.

That said, Harris was a great, physical corner. I always thought with his game that he would be a good coach and could teach younger players a lot. Good luck in Kansas City Al!

As a Vikes fan, I loved to hate this guy. Kinda like Aaron Rodgers, etc. Truth is, he was a scrappy corner that knew the position well. I think he was a great player. I can say this now that he’s retired. That being said, I will always remember:

“Moss, he burned Al Harris!”

followed by the most terribly awesome call ever made by yours truly Joe Buck:

“That is a disgusting act”
