_______
That's actually isn't a a bad point at all. My point is that if Ray Ray is a first ballot Hall of Famer and London Fletcher has equal statistics, doesn't that mean that Fletcher is also a great player? It doesn't mean he's had the same impact that Lewis has had, or is as great a player, but it does mean, especially as an undrafted free agent, high character guy, and severely undersized MLB, that he is also a "great player". And that trying to argue that he is the "Brian Hartline" to Lewis' "Calvin Johnson" is a dumb argument.

@jwreck : Funny how yall bring up stats, must not pay attention to football at all. Ray Lewis has had talented Defensive players all around him his whole career, which means taking away from his tackles and oppurtunities to make plays but still does. Your boy (Londuhhh Fletcher) has been the only thing on his d for years. He is a product of the system, put him beside Ray Ray in that defense he would be average, because Ray would get the tackle before the runner got 7 yards down field , which is when Fletch usually gets his tackle. Just know what your talking about kid. Who looks foolish now?

please take the homerness out your post. Hate skin fans. Now that they had 1 average season we will hear how they have all the best positional players, and superbowl bound , but only make playoffs 1 more time in the next ten years. 2 playoff apperances in 20 years sound about right.

You know this is a post about Kerrigan and not Cousins and RG3 right?
Also no one said anything about being a SuperBowl contender
________
Give the guy a break, he clearly said that the Redskins were a Super Bowl contender, not that DC fans were just talking about it: "and now your a Supper Bowl contender". I guess he actually is a Washington fan, he just has a funny way of showing it. On the other hand he could be making fun of Washington's continual, embarrassing overconfidence that they will reach the mysterious and legendary "Supper Bowl"; despite the fact that no team in NFL history has ever played in a Supper bowl.

OK sorry, my bad. Started out with a good idea for a joke, but seriously lost steam towards the end. I would go back and fix it, but this weather is getting stupid, and I want to hit the road before all hell breaks loose. Apologies all around.

Also no one said anything about being a SuperBowl contender, us skins fans are just excited and happy to not be in the cellar of the NFC East for once in the last few years. Ten years is a little off, since we did make the playoffs in 2004. We have young, talented, good character players on our squad for once instead of buying talent.
Eagles are the new Redskins buying talented players with bad character expecting them to play together as a team, take a clue from the old Redskins... IT DOESN'T WORK.

You do know Kerrigan plays d right? Why is Kerrigan grabbing balls and giving to ref. You act like this happens evry game. He should have only touched ball twice all year. No your guys position and stats before you post nonsense online. You look foolish
___________
I'm pretty sure the guy was speaking in cliches. But if you've ever played or watched football, and not just trolled Redskins articles, you'd know ("no") that Defensive players pick up balls all the time. It's good sportmanship, keeps the tempo up, and may result in a worse spot for the offense. Now who looks foolish?

"Why is Kerrigan grabbing balls and giving to ref?"
I was referring to the play against the giants after his batted ball for INT was returned for a score, he simply handed the ball to the ref and went back to the huddle.
The rest of your ignorance and hating is not worth a rebuttal, since you speak like a broken fan after a losing season.

2012 = Skins 2, Eagles 0 better luck next year...

I like this kid, but I agree that he wasn't his best this year. I do give him credit for acknowledging it and I'm confident he'll work hard to be better next year....especially with OSackpo back. You can't double-up on both of them.

I think most Redskins fans would agree with his comments. Love his work ethic and personality, and while his play shows flashes of brilliance, there would be games where he wouldn't have an impact. I expect him to improve and be more of a factor next season with some help from Orakpo's return.

@ fuglyflorio - Shut your mouth. You know nothing.

This guy is a class act player. I wish the NFL had more characters like Kerrigan then it wouldn't be such a joke. He makes a great play, gets up, hands the ball to the ref and goes right back to the huddle. No need for the celebration when you make a great play, the play speaks for itself.

Skins fan here. Kerrigan has excellent intangibles, such work ethic and motor. He is a team player and a guy you have to respect. He will only get better.

He's a lot more effective with Rak on the other side though.

Kerrigan talked about the need to develop a deeper variety of moves

So maybe he and Orakpo can add an additional move to their 1 move attack. I think they are ready. Would be nice.
