lol – he’s a rookie 3-4 DE…. he showed more promise his first year than most rookie 3-4 DEs…
(Brett Kiesel for example didn’t exactly shine until his 4th year.)
Jerol did better against the run than we expected – wasn’t as much of a consistent pass rusher that we were hoping for… but still – He’s a rookie.

Not crying, the two years we were hardest hit by injuries (2010,12) we managed two playoff berths and one SB victory. The difference between the teams is that the packers showed some resilience and overcame them. The lions, not so much.

Strength and cond coach Mark Lovat, his asst Thadeus Jackson, trainer Pepper Burrus and team dr. Pat McKenzie should all be shown the door before any coaching or personnel decisions are made. The rash of injuries this team has sustained over the past few years would be absolutely unacceptable to each of he other 31 franchises in this league.
