Terrell Suggs uncharacteristically quiet

350x-1

When last we heard from Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs, he was telling the Patriots to enjoy the Pro Bowl and calling them “arrogant pricks” and/or “arrogant f--kers.” (We wish he’d make up his mind.)

But now Suggs is subdued, directing no sound bites of consequence to anyone, including those who consistently have doubted the Ravens.

I don’t really have to say anything to them,” Suggs said of the naysayers, via Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun. “The fact that we’re the last two teams playing says it all. We’re just going to keep chucking and keep our eyes on the prize. One more to go.”

They were definitely chucking on Friday -- and perhaps close to upchucking. (Enjoy your eggs.) Suggs said coach John Harbaugh worked the players hard on Friday. “With the kind of practice that we just had, you would have never known,” Suggs said. “You would never have thought that’s the game we were playing for. We thought it was training camp out there.”

ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio talked to John Harbaugh about the practice. John Harbaugh said that Jim Harbaugh’s team plays like Jim, and that the Super Bowl will be the most physical game the Ravens have played all season.

After that one, Suggs may be too tired to talk. If the Ravens win, we have a feeling he’ll muster the energy to offer up a few choice quotes.
