I like Steeler fans that can make a decent comment about the Ravens or any other team. As for their troll fans bragging up Big Ben. You do know his q.b. rating in his first super bowl was 22.6 dont you? Both have grown year by year and both are very very good at what they do. give credit where credit is do!

Okay. I’ll ask. Why “9?” What’s so magical about 9 TDs? Aikman threw 8 w/0 picks in 1992. Simms did the same in 1986. I mean, yeah, I’m a 9er fan but I’ve got nothing against Flacco. Just trying to understand what’s so special ’bout “9″.

Ummm… that “washed up Steve McNair” still holds the best record in Ravens franchise history with a 13-3 season. FYI.

But I’ll give Flacco credit, he’s definitely put three pretty great games together at the most important time of the season. And putting great games together in a row is something I haven’t seen from Flacco since he’s been in the league. So, definitely improvement.

Flacco has received a lot more hate his first few seasons, even more so than Matt Ryan, who can’t even make it past the first round of the playoffs.

I’ve stuck by my QB and he’s turning into a stud. After suffering through Grbac, Wright, Boller, and a washed up Steve McNair, I’m glad to have a QB I can call a franchise QB.

Flacco is the Rodney Dangerfield of football. No matter what he does, he gets no respect. He beat the Colts – but it was because they had a rookie quarterback and they had the Ray factor at home. He beat Manning and the #1 seat Broncos – but it was because the DBs played poorly. He beat the Patriots, but it was because his receivers could leap and Baltimore’s defense rattled Brady.

But when the Ravens lost, it was all Flacco’s fault and back up third stringers could have done better. In reality, teams win games, not individuals. But, somehow the national media want to make it so.

Ravens fans are holding their breath a little b/c they know what happens most of the time Flacco faces constant pressure — deer in the headlights.

But he’s had a lights-out playoffs run this year, and needs just one more big game….

the object of sports is to win. and no qb has won more in the first 5 years of his career than joe flacco. and to the poster that thinks all he does is throw jump balls i suggest you actually watch football. great qbs put their receivers in position to make plays. who cares if joe is considered elite..whatever that means. all he does is wins. Touche. However, I want you to note Philip Rivers’ first 5 years as a starter. Over that 5 year span he had the highest QB rating, most yards per attempt, and most importantly, the most wins. Not bad for a converted shot-putter.

Flacco is a bit underrated based on what the media says about him. Quite a bit overrated in based on how he views himself… he is a good QB but he isn’t a Joe or Steve. He also faced some average to subpar and aging secondaries along the way. You folks need to remember one thing though the ravens and niners both thrive on being told they can’t. While Vegas has laid odds on the niners… pretty much everyone else has said this is Ray’s destiny and they won’t be denied.. Flacco can’t be stopped… that puts the advantage in the 49ers favor

Big Ben lead the greatest drive in 4th qtr history… 92 yards with what nfl net called the greatest bowl ever… He beat Warner who holds all the bowl passing records.

Thought I would do your homework for you. Ben 3 Afc title wins, 2 SB wins… That’s 5 championships at the age Flacco got his first Afc title..

Please do not compare the 2.

Bens first bowl was not great, but he did throw 4 TDs in Denver to put them in the Super Bowl … He also beat Manning in Indy the week before, and beat Cincy in Cincy the week before that…. After the most wins by a rookie in nfl history.
