glad you don’t run a company..4 million dollars to just throw out is no biggy to you:-( also you do realize if you cut sanchez and take a 17 million dollar cap hit ,you still have to pay another person a salary to play the qb position….so to pay someone 17 million not to play for you is smart business? it is a crazy disastrous cap hit and that is why sanchez WILL BE A JET next season!!

They don’t have much of a choice with his cost. I’m a huge USC fan, so I’m a bit of a Sanchez apologist, but I do believe with better talent surrounding him offensively he won’t look as bad. After Holmes went down, the Jets’ offense did not have any skill players that would be starting or likely even in the rotation on any playoff team. Of course, Sanchez’s play was part of the problem and he needs to improve dramatically this year.

Mike T really messed this up by that extention but more by taking away talent from Mark. In Year 1 he had Braylon / Cotchery and Thomas Jones. Year 2 – Holmes / Braylon / LT. Mark can do well with talent around him as he has proven but once they take that away it hurts his skill set. Not making excuses those INTs are terrible.
