Colin seems to excel in BIG games, the Super Bowl is a BIG game. Here’s the deal for Sunday: Kaepernick knows how to neutralize the defense, stand in the pocket for 12 seconds, until every defender is running around looking to cover somebody, then smile at the open field on which Colin Kaepernick runs runs runs for a record 264 yards. Forget about his passing TD’s, they’ll account for only 3 TD’s, while running will produce 5 TD’s for the winning quarterback, Colin Kaepernick San Francisco 49′ers. Got it? (bye ray)

So Lott played tough noses football and popped guys and that is highly praised but Pollard does it and he’s dirty right? Fair to say if Lott played under today’s rules he would be far less effective than he was in his day…

best ever safety…maybe statically…but I would take Ronny lott or Jack Tatum…those guys would separate the ball from any receiver like they wanted to kill them. Old school NFL, not paddy cake football.

Wow a ton of Ravens haters?? Go figure. Ill address you all at once:

#1- I’d venture to guess none of you were old enough to watch Lott play and base your opinion solely on what you’ve heard. Reed is THE BEST ballhawks to ever play the game. Hands down. Ask the record books.
#2-They also said the Ravens would get destroyed by Denver and New England. But here we are.
#3- @acidjack you can’t use “history shows us” as an indicator for a guy who has played half a season. History also shows us Alex smith beat him out in training camp and Harbs wasn’t confident in CK entering this season right??

Kaepernick will do alright finishing off this 49er SuperBowl run. Come next season, when the Offense loses a few of those key players(No NFL Champion has been able to hold on to all of its stars) everyone will see the true Kaepernick. He is Tim Tebow with a little better pass accuracy. Harbaugh jumped into this kid too fast. The 49ers have some of the best, if not the best personnel in the game. All those key components = Championship.

To think that Tim Tebow and Kaepernick are even close as quarterbacks is completely ridiculous. You obviously didn’t watch Tebow play last year cause you would realize he can’t read a defense to save his life and can’t sling it at all. No I am not a 49ers fan.

A) Ronnie Lott retired years ago, get your facts straight.

B) Kaepernick is looking forward to facing your aged defense too.

C) Kaepernick has thrown 4 INTs this year; and has lead the Niners to a TD on the next drive all 4 times.

So yes, please pick off as many passes as you want. If history is an indicator, it only makes Kaep stronger.
