It doesn’t matter how many years passed. We treat the man as a god even though that event has several very important pieces to the puzzle missing. Who knows where those pieces are? Ray Lewis. If nothing to hide then tell us…. E.g what happened to the white jacket? Two people were murdered, does it really matter how much time has passed?

I like Ray Lewis. But would it be too much for him to stop using God as a way to duck out of a question? I know reporters and journalists aren’t always perfect. But it’s a reporter’s job to ask tough questions like the murder case and his alleged use of a banned substance. They are not supposed to be Lewis’ PR tool; that’s the job of the Baltimore Ravens and the NFL.

The press loves to say the murder case is unsolved. Am I wrong or weren’t the two defendants found innocent because it was self defense and the murder charges against Ray were dropped. I wish the press worked half as hard at their jobs as Ray does at his.

The media asking the questions are just looking for Ray to slip up and say something incriminating; that is their job. Most members of that community care nothing about the game, merely just looking for way to plug an interest in the game for their own interest and a storyline for the non-fan to follow. As for Ray, it is obvious he is going to respond in the manner he did as he’s been doing it since the turn of the century. He built his brand around it. If it’s willful ignorance or just plain truth, we will never know. Why is anyone surprised on both sides? People always judge until its their time to face the scrutiny just as people get their panties in a bunch when the media asks difficult questions that have no relevance as to what is happening now. Lets just play the dang game and get ready for the off-season.

That was 12 years ago and he wasn’t convicted of murder at all. People think that because he took a plea agreement for obstruction of justice that he did it? If he did it he wouldn’t have been able to get that agreement. He didn’t do it. End of story. Let it go. Why on earth would he answer questions about it 12 years later being asked by people that don’t know anything about it. He’s not the only guy in the world to have been accused of something he didn’t do and have the charges reduced later. That happens every day.

As a Raven’s fan, I don’t have a problem with the media bring up this story again. We all know who that turned out during the actual game. Can the media fuel this team anymore than it already has been? Are they forgetting the interviews on the field after the last three playoff wins? I’m not guaranteeing a victory, but the media is with every passing low ball move. This team feeds off of it.

If you want the Ravens to lose, favor them, make it easy for them, and praise them with overwhelming success before the actual game is played. Otherwise you’re going to get the same result as the other three playoff games and 2000 ending with a Superbowl victory.
