Excuses, excuses. You lost. Get over it. The 49ers defense admitted to trying to knock Eli out of the game afterwards but that news story did not get any publicity like the Giants story did. Either way, what the Giants said had nothing to do with those fumbles. Next time hold onto the ball a little tighter there buddy.

Williams isn’t whining about anything. He’s just asking about the NFL’s seemingly inconsistent way of handing out discipline.
He manned up about the messups in the game and answered every reporter’s questions about the mistakes for days afterward, earning a lot of respect.
This year he was actually a very effective returner (see the Vikings game where he nearly returned two for TDs. One went for 90 yards).

He is a very good slot receiver and might be the Niners’ No. 1 return guy fulltime next year with Ginn getting older and not being of much use as a receiver.

The Giants never mentioned having MONEY on anyone’s head. That is what Bounty means. Targeting a player is not the same as a bounty. That’s why this is not even newsworthy, there is absolutely no analogy to be drawn here.

The only thing the Giants were targeting was Williams’ inability to be a capable kick returner. Also ‘bounty’ indicates that a reward was paid in exchange for an act against a player. The Giants kicked your second-string butt for free Kyle.
