Every time you watch film on any team you’re going to see areas you can exploit. I guarantee the 9ers are watching film and see areas they can exploit as well.

It’s where the chess match aspect of it comes in where coaches are going deduce and guess how the opposing offense/defense is going to attack their own offense/defense then build a scheme and gameplan around that.

An argument that says Atlanta is a better team than the Ravens and therefore will lose to the 49ers makes no sense. Atlanta may have the best receiver duo in the NFL with a great TE but the running game is not a viable threat and apparently the defense isn’t up to task. Ravens offense hung 38 points in Denver and 28 in NE while the defense held NE to only 13 points…at home…and held the Broncos offense to 21 points at home (14 points were given up on Special Teams). Right now the offense is quite balanced.

Gonzales is HOF but the trend is more than one good TE. Matty Ice is good but you can not substantiate an argument that he’s better than Flacco. The post season (when it really matters) numbers speak for themselves.

And yet nobody makes mention of the fact that Mike Smith pulled up in the second half and started to run clock management and prevent D. He allowed SF back into the game, and it was too little too late for the Falcons in the end.

Not saying SF doesn’t have a good D- they do, espeically against the run. But their coverage after 10 yards leaves much to be desired and fortunately for the Ravens, that’s been their bread and butter during this post-season run.

The Ravens offense WILL have some success vs. the 49ers, especially if the 49ers can’t generate a pass rush with 4 guys.

The bigger question is if the Ravens defense can hold up for 60 minutes against an offense that can shapeshift at will.

I understand what Dickson is saying, but he probably should’ve just gave a non-answer here. Of course the media will blow every quote into a huge story. They’re already bored with the Harbaugh Brothers storyline, The Ray Lewis Retirement the SF QB change AND the Cam Cameron firing.

Have the 49ers shown they are susceptible to the big pass play? Yes. Would I point it out to them? No. Not for nothing, but the entire group of receivers in ATL is better than in Baltimore. That isn’t a dig at the Ravens, just a statement of my opinion. I happen to think that Boldin and Smith as a pair are excellent and Pitta is underrated, but I’d much rather take Jones, White and Gonzalez for obvious reasons. This game cannot get here fast enough for me. lol

I don’t think the Ravens offense is quite as capable as Atlanta’s offense. Atlanta has better receiver’s, one of the best tight ends to ever play the game, and a better quarterback. So don’t get your hopes up too high ED.
