Ravens are the only relevant team. Steelers didnt even make the playoffs, so pathetic. Hey Woodley, guess who won a superbowl playing QB? Ravens own the Steelers. Ravens are averaging a championship every 8 years, Steelers every 13 years. Tell me about those rings now, losers.

Have you seen the Steelers special teams this year?
They let go of their special teams coach 2 weeks before start of season and to be honest, if they had just average special teams, they would have made the playoffs, and fairly easily. Not that they would have made any noise, but they would have got in.

Anybody that comes in that has seen a football in their life at one time or another should be an asset to what this disaster was last year.

ravenator, for as many Steelers articles you feel the need to stick your face into, I’m surprised you even remembered the Ravens were playing in the Super Bowl. Typical Ravens fan. If it wasn’t for a measly few plays here or there (hailmary’s, 4th and 29′s), then it’s the Ravens staring 8-8 in the face. The Steelers aren’t going anywhere. Redskins kick coverage has been great. As well as punt coverage. Returns haven’t been so great. But, when we dropped Brandon Banks, we got a lot better.

Good riddance. This is a guy whose fg and punt units have had 9 kicks blocked in the last 2 seasons as well as having some of the most consistently bad kick and punt return units in the league his entire tenure with the team. How he is an allegedly well respected coach in the league with such poor results never made any sense to me.

The first commentor might miss him but I sure won’t. Our special teams is crap… before Forbath we’ve had nothing but terrible kickers, a punter who went from one of the greatest in college to an absolute flop in the NFL, returners that dance or fumble about as much as they make big plays. The only things that have been good about our special teams have been Lorenzo Alexander and Forbath.

Good luck in Pittsburgh Danny! Thanks for all of the hard work and dedication over the years. You have been a real asset to the team and a leader of men.

All that being said, moving forward, I’m really looking forward to the Redskins not having the worst special teams unit in the league next year. I wonder who they hire to replace Danny? Whoever it is, it wont be that hard to improve on the 31st worst special teams ranking posted by Danny’s squad this year.

There was a reason our special teams unit stood out for years, out team wasn’t very good period.

He will not be missed beyond relationships. His X’s and O’s will be replaced soon enough, maybe with another Shanny family member?

I will give him credit for lasting forever in Danny Snyders old regime, but I’m not sure that’s an honor?

redskins special teams unit has alwsys been one of our best assets. danny is an excellent coach and steelers fans have a lot to be excited about. D.c. will miss ya.
