Has to be one of the worst statements ever. I guess Dan Marino, Tony Gonzalez or any other great player that never won a superbowl don’t deserve to be a Hall of Famers either.

Jordy Nelson, as good as he is, needs to have a year where he isn’t hurt before you can make a statement like that.

As a Viking and Randy Moss fan there is no doubt Jerry Rice was the better WR. Moss had more athleticism and truly could have been the best ever. However, Rice is the one that ALWAYS played with his heart and never took plays off. Moss openly admitted to doing so. I’m more of a Moss fan but Rice was the better football player.

But if you compare both players in their prime and just say who was the better player then it isn’t unreasonable at all to go with Moss.

1) Moss played on two of the three most prolific offenses of all time and that is no coincidence.

2) Moss only had an HOF caliber QB for one season, at which time his offense shattered anything that any one of Jerry’s offenses ever achieved. Moss broke the TD record that year.

3) Just watch the career highlights of each player. If anything else Moss had much more of a Wow factor.

The Ed Reed INT was thrown to Moss (it was overthrown), but Moss didn’t even go up for it- had he done so he may have come down with it, or at least deflected it so Reed may not have made the INT.

There was another TD pass attempt thrown to Moss that wasn’t a great throw either, but Moss made no attempt at it whatsoever.

Had Moss made an effort on either of those plays, the 9ers win.

Statistically, Moss has the numbers to make the HOF. Everything else about him screams “no way”!

of 2013 HOF class was Haley’s omission. He
should be without question and it’s absolutely

him year after year; only cheapens the Hall
