Yssup, in all due respect you have no clue what your talking about. In your profession do you not want to be paid well or get what your relative co workers or peers are getting?

Also you don’t know Joe, he is the most humble normal football star you’ll ever meet. He still hangs out with all his friends from high school and expects nobody to kiss his ass. He goes out to the bar and nobody even talks to him he just blends in like a normal dude. He only recently bought a nicer house in a neighboring town and still works out at the local gym and goes to local dining spots. He has not change one bit from when he was in high school and carries himself as if he was a normal person and not a super bowl mvp. If anyone deserves a bit of cash its Joe. Again you don’t have a clue.

Flacco just put on a show this post-season. To throw 11 TD’s with no interceptions along with the work he did keeping those drives alive when the game was slipping away from them was special work.

When Joe Flacco was at Pitt, Dave Wannstadt awarded the starting job to Tyler Palko. Flacco quit and enrolled at Delaware.
Just imagine how it would have gone if Palko started today.

13-16 million a season is not gonna cut it. He is very much like Eli Manning. Plays his best in the biggest games. Eli is making just north of 20 million per season. Joe Cool should get just about Easy Eli money.

Deion Sanders asked Flacco if he’s going to ask for $100 million from the Ravens and Flacco laughed as he recounted a conversation he’d just had with Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti.

“I just said that. Steve Bisciotti told me that if this happens I can go pound on his desk and really stick it to him. And I said that’s exactly what I’m gonna do,” Flacco said.

Everyone’s going nuts for Flacco but how many of his big plays in the playoffs were plays where the defense blew a coverage or where Bolden just ripped the ball away from a DB?

Seems they could get a guy cheaper to throw jump balls to Bolden.

Plus, Flacco is only good going to his right.

Great postseason run by Flacco, but the downside is he has a longer history of near average regular seasons to go along with it. Pay him $13-$16 mil/ yr and i think thats fair for both sides.

Dont forget his D stepped up and held the Colts to 12 points, P.Manning to 21 points, and the Pats to 13 points. This was a team effort all the way around…

Joe Flacco is the Eli Manning of the AFC.. clutch during the postseason but will have to be carried some of the year if not most of it by his defense. I don’t know if you call him elite but he’s a top 14 quarterback who can lead his team and has a superbowl ring to show for it

Joe had one of the Greatest Post Seasons in NFL History by a QB probably second after Montana in 1989. He Outplayed Luck, Brady, Peyton and Absoutly destroyed the 49ers Defense which was Considered arguably the Best in the League. The thing is if Brady or Peyton played the Way Joe did then everybody would they say they are the Greatest.

Flacco was absolute money in the playoffs and showed immense poise!

His asking price just went way up!!!

Kudos to you and the Ravens on a remarkable run. I’ll be the first to admit that I didn’t think they would even get past Indianapolis with the way they limped into the postseason and Indy riding that emotional high.

What makes Flacco so valuable is that he’s playing for a cap number of $8M, letting them spend money on quality players around him.

He — and several other Ravens — deserve a raise, but I suspect they’ll all be overpaid to the extent that the Ravens will quite literally be half the team in ’13 that they were in ’12.

We hear all the time that the dolphins should’ve drafted Matt Ryan over Jake Long in ’08. Its interesting to think about whether Flacco would’ve been a better option than Ryan.
