On the Frank Gore touchdown play that cut the gap to 28-20, defensive tackle Haloti Ngata was injured on the play, and went to the locker room.
He suffered a knee injury, and his return is being termed doubtful. Not having him in the middle further weakens a Ravens defense that suddenly looks old and vulnerable.

You can’t stop athletes in the middle of a game and just have them stand around for half an hour. That’s a setup for something like this to happen. It’s not fair to either team, but it especially sucks for the team that has the momentum before the screwup happens. If I were a Ravens fan, I’d be freaking out. No excuse for something like this happening in a championship game.
