Ngata doubtful to return with knee injury

49ers quarterback Kaepernick gets tackled by Ravens Ngata and Lewis during the NFL Super Bowl XLVII football game in New Orleans Reuters

Things aren’t getting any better for the Ravens since the lights came back on.

On the Frank Gore touchdown play that cut the gap to 28-20, defensive tackle Haloti Ngata was injured on the play, and went to the locker room.

He suffered a knee injury, and his return is being termed doubtful. Not having him in the middle further weakens a Ravens defense that suddenly looks old and vulnerable.

It’s called Karma. For his dirty hit on RGIII in November.

Bad knee and all, he probably could still run down Tammy Brady.

Big loss but he doesn’t really play much “in the middle” anymore. A lot more at DE.

You can’t stop athletes in the middle of a game and just have them stand around for half an hour. That’s a setup for something like this to happen. It’s not fair to either team, but it especially sucks for the team that has the momentum before the screwup happens. If I were a Ravens fan, I’d be freaking out. No excuse for something like this happening in a championship game.
