ravens are over aggressive in the first couple possessions of every game. they are the ones causng the chippiness because “We do this. That’s been part of the Ravens defense for years, to show toughness”

the league office should take notice and put a stop to it.

Right. Just like last year. Always ‘the better team’ … always getting cheated. There’s a theme here. Let’s see if we can figure it out.

The better team won last year, and should have done so in blowout fashion, had they not inflicted several unforced errors on themselves in the first half.

In typical fashion, dirty Anthony Davis and Alex Boone were in the middle of it. Davis is one of the dirtiest linemen in the league that no one knows about. Constantly pushing guys in the back after whistles, yanking facemasks after plays, etc.

Williams shoved an official (who he clearly saw was an official) in the second quarter. No penalty. No ejection.

Ngata punch a 49ers offensive linemen twice in the head right infront of an official in the first quarter. No penalty. No ejection.

Any other sport, or any other game, shoving an official gets you suspended. Ask Rajon Rondo who even did so jokingly and paid the price.

Add to that Ed Reed LINING UP offsides on a 2 point conversion that would have tied the game, as well as several other non-calls and you can’t blame SF for being upset.

Either put the whistles away entirely and let them play, or call the game the way the rules say.

Picking and choosing when to call penalties and when not to is ridiculous (with the exception of the very last play when there was contact on both sides, and one should expect the officials NOT to end the game on a penalty)

Didn’t even come off from a hit or anything, was absolutely ripped off a good length after the whistle.

Now the fans are whining. Sour grapes. The refs let the boys play and the better team won, enough said.
