They would have asked him to take a pay cut first instead of exposing him to free agency.

His value now is that he’s a grizzled veteran and a top flight pass protector. On occasion, he’ll give you that 20/100 game but not much more. If you look at our division, we desperately need to get younger, faster and more dynamic. Wilson/Brown totally fit that mold.

Someone above mentioned Indy. I think that would be a perfect fit for him. They are young and can use that “been there / done that” guy.

Kevin boss left for raiders, Reese critisized as then finds Ballard and now Bennett.

Jacob let go to the 49ers, Reese gets Wilson and brown.

And the beat goes on. Love Bradshaw but it was time and anyone thinking Wilson won’t be the start is crazy. We didn’t spend a FIRST round pick on. A guy to play special teams. It’s flips backfield to lose now but I do hope he cuts the backflips out.

AB is as much of a face for those two championship teams as Eli, Tuck, Strahan, et al. I know that teams need to move on, but I just hate to see AB go. he’s been the heart on this team. Nothing impressed me more than Bradshaw and Jacobs’ relationship — here’s two guys basically competing for time, and they’re both cheering each other on.

Even this season, Bradshaw was there on the sidelines, waving a towel and cheering on Wilson and Brown — the two guys who just took his job. That says so much about him as a man and a player.

Ahmad, thank you from Giants fans everywhere. You’ll always be a Giant to us, and I wish you good health and more well deserved success on your next team — I know you’ve got a lot more in the tank. Go get ‘em, son!

He would immediately fill several needs. The running game would once again be a threat which would slow down the pass rush on Ben. Unfortunately, I don’t see any team that will sign him. He’s not a pass catcher and he’s not dynamic enough as a bell cow (anymore). Could be another situation like Jacobs where he sits around all offseason and waits for the third round of FAs to be signed before he gets a call. His best option (like Jacobs last year) is to find a team playoff-ready that is missing a lockerroom voice and a “been there / done that” guy. That said, I see him as a perfect spell-back to Arian Foster or Knowshon Moreno. Hate to say it….he’s also a perfect fit to spell DeAngelo Murray (puked in my mouth a little right there thinking about #44 with a star on his helmet…)

Even though he was injured often, he still gave you 110% of everything he had on the field. You can’t teach that. I think he has some few good years left. And he wouldn’t mind staying in the NFC East to show the Giants he still has it. Philly is set at RB. Redskins have backs but wouldn’t be surprised to see Shanahan take a look at him. I’d love him in Dallas. Felix should have been gone a long time ago. Murray will probably get injured again at some point and with Bradshaw, we wouldn’t lose the running game like we did with Felix in.

He gave 110% every time he carried the ball but he just had yet another foot surgery. Not sure if he has the physical ability to be a regular back and carry the ball 20 times a game. Jury is still out on Wilson but he is a much different RB than Bradshaw. He has an amazing burst of speed getting thru the whole but drops like a fly when he gets hit. Bradshaw, on the other hand, would carry 3 players on his back and keep pounding forward. I wish RB luck……just not against Blue.
