Your an idiot..get your facts straight.

Jacksonville covers seats because our stadium was originally a college bowl that holds 85K.

Do a little research next time...No one fills there stadium like we do based on a population of One Million people. Who else has 6% of there pop at every game?????

o.co is the single worst professional sports facility in north america. you can't knock raiders for that. a great facility can override team performance deficiencies but no doubt, when a team isn't playing well and when the live experience is basically a field trip to a penal institution, what the hell do you expect for attendance??

i travel to alameda every year from canada for at least a couple games and yes, the crowd is extremely hostile towards opposing teams. sometimes its even hostile towards itself. i would not take my children to a game there until they were well into their teen years. i'm not making a judgement against anyone because i happen to enjoy the atmosphere (and i love the raiders) but i think thats as honest as you can get re: the o.co. you reap what you sow.

-Firstly I am from LA and after all these years it took me to realize the Raiders did the right thing by going back home to their birth place. It is their home town.

-2nd I believe the Raiders will get a new stadium in Oakland. the A's just extended their lease so so i think the raiders will follow suite. Example I believe in is they have some serious ideas and planning to make the coliseum complex top notch.

-Third it is true the Raiders have had their issues but these things change over time and fans know this even if it takes a decade mediocrity.

4th-The only team LA team to call home would be the Rams. There is no expansion in place, the Jags are lease locked until 2027 and the Chargers are 50/50 on a LA move. If the chargers do go to LA which I really don't see happening would only be due to stadium negotiations falling apart in SD.

-5th The Raiders should never leave Oakland again; they corrected their mistake when they went home.

I don't believe this has anything to do with Ticket sales. I believe this was done to get the gang members and the losers who just go to games to fight and cause trouble. I call it the snoop dog fans. They wear Raiders jerseys but they cant tell you who plays TE or CB. They all buy cheap seats since they dont care about actually seeing the game, they go there to sell drugs and hopefully shoot someone. 9ers have this problem as well. As long as their are blacks we will have this problem.. Just be honest

Most of the home games since 1995, that is over 50% easily, have been sold out.

Do some research. While there have been struggles. There Have been plenty of sellouts

Embarrassing. Should of never left LA.

They could never sell out in LA either. The LA Coliseum has 90,000 seats. Every game was blacked out. They were in negotiations to have a new stadium built and were having trouble securing a deal. That is why they left LA...

Excellent move. Been asking for this a few years now. Although most games were on local tv last year, around the league teams are blacked out locally. 45,000 raider fans are louder than 95% of the rest of the league. As the team gets back to its winning ways again in a couple years, then we can remove the tarps. Again, great move to get all games on local tv.

That’s taking the bull by the horns! And anyone who thinks they should move to LA to solve their problems is forgetting that they already tried that and then moved back to Oakland.

You can build the world’s biggest stadium in LA. You can put two teams there. What you can’t do is force the locals to support a football team when they have always been basketball and baseball-oriented.

Three teams have moved out of LA; the Rams, the Chargers and the Raiders… you have to be an eternal optimist to think they’ll support one NFL team, much less the two that the NFL has openly daydreamed about.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You might want to get the facts straight. The Raiders and Rams left LA because of stadium issues (construction of luxury suites) and not because of low fan support.

The Cardinals never get a mention for their seats on rollers.

Fiesta Bowl/BCS title game/Super Bowl gets 10k seats rolled out. Cardinal home games, those seats are hidden.

Same concept as the Jaguars and Raiders but without the national media attention.

The poor Jaguars always get picked on for blocking off seats while the Redskins get a pass. But they Redskins went as far as to remove part of their stadium to avoid possible black-outs down the road. Please include the Redskins in all future jokes about downsizing stadium seating.

what are you talking about? it had nothing to do with avoiding blackouts. They are putting in party decks. Besides with RGIII coming in and playing well, i'd imagine that the Skins are going to be a tough ticket for the next 10 years.

Its funny how the majority of the post that bash the Raiders, fail to represent their team in there username or state their team in their comment.

___

Since when does that matter? I could like the Jags or the Patriots or any team in between but that doesn't change the fact that Oakland is a bottom-5 franchise right now.

Anyone who thinks they "represent their team" is a tool.

What’s not to get? The NFL is more popular, but that doesn’t mean hometown teams want to pay high prices (tickets, food, parking, etc.) to watch their team LOSE. Let’s not forget having to deal with dumb drunks.

Dumb Oakland drunks are borderline dangerous.

------------------------------------------------------

Uh, so are dumb cleveland drunk fans, and baltimore drunk fans, and dallas drunk fans and... Well you get the point.

It's not like Oakland is the only stadium with drunk fans...

Honored to be a Raider fan through the dismal era... it's no fun, but it builds character and keeps life in perspective. Greater days lie ahead... in the meantime, most of the teams in the NFL will not see the Superbowl before the Raiders get there again. Confident of that.
