Hey Kgun, you had me until the last statement. Giving money to the Buffalo schools would be a bigger waste of money. Buffalo is the 3rd highest city for money spent per student in the country. Give the money to me. I will put it to better use.

Seriously? Why am I surprised? average player with average skills who is injured more often then not... New coach .. Same baloney!! You have 2 players who played almost every snap!! Byrd and Levitre, and you are locking up a slot guy? We don't need him we wasted a 3rd round pick on TJ Grahm, he is the same player undersized really fast with mediocre hands!! This organization is a joke and after 30 years as a fan.. I really think I am done!! Just move the dam team!! Take the money we are providing for stadium upgrades and invest into the Buffalo public schools they could actually use it!

It makes sense because otherwise we'd have to give him the second round tender, which is a little over $2M. Can't give him an original round tender because he wasn't drafted. We could probably get him signed to a new deal that would come in under $2M but more than his rookie contract. Both sides win.

Jones looks a lot better as a third or fourth receiver than he does as one of the team’s top targets and the Bills need to do more to support whoever their quarterback winds up being next season if their offense is going to take a step forward.

Everything rides on the QB's shoulders when it comes to Jones. As the Quarterback gets better, so does Jones play. I bet Jones would be the #2 Receiver for Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers. With Fitzpatrick under center, Jones looked like a third or fourth wideout. If the Bills can provide the team with a bigger armed QB, they know what they have in Jones. David Nelson and Donald Jones are both great pick-ups of the scouting team. Both undrafted, both were underestimated in their advance from their college program's.

Before people start freaking out about this not being Byrd/Levitre keep in mind: he's a restricted free agent. His negotiations should be much quicker/easier than Byrd and Levitre.

I can guarantee you this will not hamper their ability to have a sit down with those other two and their agents, and OBD knows those are their main priorities.
