Getty ImagesThe Buccaneers released a full list of their coaching staff for the coming season Thursday.
Several of the moves we knew, such as hiring quarterbacks coach John McNulty, receivers coach John Garrett and special teams coach Dave Wannstedt.
But they slid a few new ones in as well, according to Stephen Holder of the Tampa Bay Times.
They added new linebackers coach Robb Smith, but he’s far from a new name. Smith worked at Rutgers under Bucs coach Greg Schiano.
Smith replaces Bob Fraser as linebackers coach, as Fraser was given the title of assistant defensive coordinator.
The Bucs also changed the title of defensive assistant Bryan Cox, calling him pass-rush specialist, after he was previously known as front-seven coach. Both kind of seem like made-up-on-the-spot titles, but he’s still there working, so he probably doesn’t care what you call him.

The linebackers played well against the run last year, but they need to improve against the pass. Hopefully Smith can help them take the next step.
Anyone not sure what to call Bryan Cox had better go with “Sir” – one of the meanest dudes to ever play…
Excited to see guys like Bostad, Cox, and Sullivan return along with guys like Ron Cooper and Ron Turner exiting.
Let’s see if the new Coach’s have an effect on the ‘pro game’ as opposed to NCAA….
Didn’t they just get a new staff last year and the year before and the year before?
