Cam Cameron, the offensive coordinator whose firing in Baltimore corresponded with an offensive turnaround that led the Ravens to a championship, has landed a new job.
Cameron is the new offensive coordinator at LSU, Bruce Feldman of CBS reports. Cameron and LSU head coach Les Miles have a close relationship and were assistants together at Michigan from 1987 to 1993.
LSU has struggled on offense the last two years under offensive coordinator Greg Studrawa, who will reportedly move back to coaching LSU’s offensive line.
Although Cameron has been in the NFL for the last decade, he has a wealth of experience in college as an assistant at Michigan and as head coach at Indiana.
