Work on your reading comprehension. His ‘first year here…’ That means his first year with the Saints. The same year he got them to NFCCG2006, with a 50% rookie team.

Don’t nobody knows the New Orleans Saints like Sean Payton does, this is why he talks the way he do about his team. I don’t care what anyone says know team cannot play they best without their head coach, mainly if there is know contact with the team or coaches. Sean Payton built this team he knows what make them tick, watch the 2013 season a different team.
