Getty ImagesThe Buffalo Bills signed offensive lineman Hutch Eckerson and re-signed quarterback Aaron Corp on Thursday.
Corp spent a few weeks with the Bills during last off-season. An undrafted free agent out of the University of Richmond (after transferring from USC), Corp was signed by the Bills following the 2012 NFL draft but was released in May.
Eckerson was an undrafted free agent out of South Carolina in 2011. He spent time with the San Diego Chargers and New Orleans during training camp the last two seasons before being released prior to the regular season.
The Bills also released cornerback Terrence McGee on Thursday. The official reason listed on the league’s transaction report was due to a failed physical.

this is the best time of the year… only time Aaron Corp will make the news.. or the Bills either
Camp Fodder….
Like the QB’s at the combine that are throwing to the WR. They were not invited but get a chance to show what they have to the people that are paying attention, but making the most of the situation.
Terrence McGee is getting a chance to test the open market before it opens. The Patriots would be a perfect landing spot to help guide Talib. The Giants, Saints, Tampa, Dolphins, and Browns all would benefit from signing him to a vet minimum for his knowledge.
I recall that Corp left USC when the Matt Barkley won the starting job in his freshman year.
Super Bowl!
Whew, now I can rest easy knowing that Hutch Eckerton has a job.
Good luck to McGee!
haha that was a funny article.
Championship!
Wow…Bills fan who went to SC and I have no recollection of Hutch Eckerton. So can’t say I’m excited about his signing.
I saw Corp play at Richmond a few times. Despite having an inexperienced offensive line and hardly any running game, he played very well. Racked up a bunch of yards and could zing the ball. Same type of QB as Flaco.
