21 different guys played Db or were projected to play DB out of camp…twenty freakin one…., that won’t happen ever again…except it did back in 03 I think too for the Lions…Otis Smith signed off the street, Todd Lyght in his swift decline, Bracey Walker…that crew….

They have to get Delmas re-signed (cheap because of his past health), add a reliable #2 safety in the draft…and then they’ll only be missing a #1 and #2 caliber corner! Woo!

There wasn’t much talent there, but the Lions pass defense moved up from 22nd to 14th in yards conceded last year. And this wasn’t a team that offenses didn’t need to pass on

Its akin to being promoted to be the Recreational Director on the Titanic.

The Lion’s secondary is god awful last year and this year isn’t looking too good.
