Also, I’m not going to get into who is better between Gronk and Graham. They are totally different players who play different roles on their own teams.

I’d also assume that Jimmy will be looking for more money than Gronk because WR’s get paid more than TE’s. I’d guess that he plays more snaps out of the 3 point stance.

Graham is wayyyyyy better than gronk…brees spreads the ball around to everybody equally …he doesn’t gorce feed the ball to jimmy like brady does gronk and welker…

But he’s better then Hernandez so his agent and the Saints should find common ground in the middle of those two deals with the money being closer to what Gronk is getting then Hernandez.”

He is going to get more than both of them. They took extensions and if you average out their salaries as per year they are less than what you’d think. (gronk $6.9 mil a year, hernandez $5.8 mil)

Graham will easily get more than that, especially if he hits UFA.

well “profootballwalk” – that “wasted space” on running plays has 2-3 guys moving his way on that snap – I’d say that is as good as a block wouldn’t you?

Seriously? Gronk is at least as good a receiver (I’m being generous here) and he blocks like a pulling guard. On running plays, Graham is wasted space.

JG play with a wrist injury (L) for most of the 2012 season–hence all the dropped passes. He would tape up both wrists so it wouldn’t be obvious during games.

Yeah, that’s what you said in 2011, then they went and signed Darren Sproles and two starting DT’s, then you said it again last year and they went and signed Lofton and Hawthorne and Grubbs and Bunkley, so forgive me if I have to believe your knowledge of the Saints cap situation is somewhat uninformed.

He’s not going anywhere, JG is Drew Brees’ little brother.

The Saints have one year to plan and save up for re-signing Graham. He’s been a bargain these past few seasons and he’s due big money.

$14.7 million over the cap(including the carry over) and cutting Will Smith will only relieve half of that amount.

Jimmy ain’t getting a new deal this year because Breesus sucked the team dry.($17.4 Million hit for 2013)
