While I agree with you that Raiola sucks, please point out the “False Start, Holding, Personal Foul” penalties he’s racked up through out the years…as a Lions fan, I find it hard to find. Is he good?, NO..but he doesn’t make rookie mistakes. don’t make stuff up.

Who else are you going to get? A sub par free agent center that has to come in, learn his new teammates, learn a new scheme etc. (if you can afford him.) A rookie, who has never played a snap in the NFL? Bill Nagy? Who has injury concerns?

Dom may not be great, but he isn’t bad. Is his run blocking the best? No, but you also got to look at the people that play around him (Peterman).

I am a die hard Lion fan…love his intensity to the game. It seems he had a good work ethic. It also seemed like he had meatball brain. Lets hope it wasn’t all on him, why the Lions couldn’t move a defense line in their running game. He has been though some tough crap with the Lions, but it doesn’t give him a pass. I hope he does do well this year for Detroit…but i would not have been sad to see him leave either. RESTORE THE ROAR! (Questions…when “was” there a roar?)
