Rod Marinelli needs to talk to Monte Kiffin and get their stories right. Either the defensive alignment doesn’t matter (as Kiffin claims) or it does (says Marinelli). Either way, Cowboys problem hasn’t been the front seven (whether 3-4 or 4-3). It’s been the DBs that can’t stop anyone and also Romo taking (and losing) gambles at the wrong times. Switching to 4-3 from 3-4 won’t fix that. It just means the Cowboys set themselves back a couple of years t, ill they get the personnel for 4-3.
----------------------------------------------------

Not sure how much you know about football based off of this statement.

1.) The Cowboys had a top 10 passing defense all of last year. Hence why Mo Claiborne and Brandon Carr were such a big deal. And they declined when half of the defense got injured.

2.) The Cowboys got little to no pass rush last year compared to what they're used to. So actually it was the front 7 that was struggling, especially cause Jay Ratliff disappeared and Demarcus Ware had lingering injuries.

3.) In case you need reinforcements, the fact that the Cowboys pass rush was lacking and they were still a top pass defense, completely makes you look ignorant for that statement.

4.) They have 4-3 personnel. Barry Church is a 4-3 strong safety, he's a hard hitter who stops the run. Gerald Sensabaugh is a risk tasking, playmaker FS; he's not that great but he fits. As you know Ware & Spencer are perfectly fine at DE in the 4-3. And the Cowboys linebackers like Carter, Lee, and Connor are all capable of being in a 4-3. All they need is DT's which they are drafting this year. Unless Jay Ratliff gets his head on straight.

Just an FYI.

as an Eagle fan thanks for screwing with the best player you have.

As if the pathetic Eagles would have a chance if Ware lined up at QB. Keep it real.

I wouldn't bet against Ware becoming a very good defensive end in a 4-3.

They ran a Combination of 3-4, 4-3 defense with Ryan, the personnel is in place, they now have two coaches who excell at the 4-3 wich I believe will help them be a better defense. Ryan's defense was too inconsistent and confusing for the players.
