That said, the USFL Title is a bit suspect for Baltimore. The Stars of the USFL, were known as the Philadelphia Stars when they acquired the second title in the league, in 1984 (home games played at the Vet and Franklin Field). The title in 1985 was won as the Baltimore Stars, however they played home games at Byrd Stadium, and their headquarters remained at the Franklin Field offices in Philadelphia.

Not diminishing the title of 1985 in Baltimore, however it was barely noticed in Charm City. There were some good players and coaches in that league and within that Stars team, but Baltimore did not really take to the team and by the time they started, the league folded.

Ray Lewis in obstructing justice did a bad thing. He has worked for the last dozen or so years at repentance. He made monetary donations which is actually required by the Oral Torah. He publicly apologized. He has sinned no more (at least in that arena). He has done all of the requirements that G-d asks of us after sinning. If you can not forgive him his transgression, then the problem is your, not his.

We Baltimore fans have a right to be proud in every championship this city has earned, most of us are actually from the state our team’s city lies in and unlike you lot we didn’t jump on a bandwagon to support our team.

Winning a bunch when the league is in its infancy and then being awful for 40 years doesn’t make a team great.

Dude, the Ravens were an 8-8 team that caught a Steelers team without their QB and lucked out on a 4th and 26 play.

Then they lucked out on a deep pass to Jacoby Jones that was actually underthrown in Denver (not to mention the pick six earlier in the game that should have been pass interference–common theme for the ratbirds).

Then the officials failed to call the 6 penalties in the final 2 minutes against the Ravens in the Super Bowl-P.I. on second down, defensive holding/P.I on 4th down, and then 4 holding penalites on the fake punt (obviously, they wouldn’t have all be assessed, but 4 lineman were clearly holding on that play…it allowed the Ravens to tick an extra 5 seconds off of the clock, taking away San Fran’s chance for one last play to the end zone).
