Its moronic that these guys who do nothing but sign paperwork and attend a few meetings a year make millions on top of millions. All that money plus a bunch of other benefits including a luxurious company car, full medical benefits, vacation home and stock options. All the while, the guy that really busts his back for the company makes $45,000/yr and is still living with his parents. Absolute crap.

True that some execs aren't worth the money. As long as they are held accountable FIRST for company performance, I don't have a problem with their pay. One of the reasons they get paid so much is supposedly they are the ones who do the company's decision making. Since Bornstein had his pay cut, it seems he IS being held accountable for his network's performance so that's a good thing.

BUT....if you make 45k and still have to live with your parents you are probably a loser too unless you are living with them to help them through some health crisis or something.

Personal opinion? The NFL Network is disappointing and the guy deserved the cut.

It's time for a revamp there. More ESPN type 30/30 features, no Michael Irvin, more of of the old footage like the other poster suggested.

Give me Howie, Jimmy, Michael and Terry ANYTIME over their group.

Charlie Casserly is the worst, BTW, he's not right about much.

Maybe it's because theNFL Network is not improving. Rich Eisen is cutting back, they continue to employ Michael Irvin and Warren Sapp, repetitious programming when they have a treasure trove of NFL Films they could show. Why not broadcast old games from the 70's for filler?

Only decent thing has been Nicole Z's cat suit on NFL AM on Halloween. Hope they make THAT an annual tradition.
